The Littoral Route: This is our most adventure, educational and recreational tours, on boat. This tour takes a whole day from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The tours starts in Bayahibe, where we take the boat, then we are going riding in the boat along the coastal line of the Parque Nacional de Este; therefore, you will be able to se the coastal and marine ecosystem like mangrove, coral reef, seagrass, white sand beaches, the community of Mano Juan in Saona Island the final destination will be Mano Juan or Canto de la Playa where we can have a succulent BBQ. In addition, we can have the chance of swimming and snorkeling a lot. This tour is made with Bayahibe Boat Operator Association (ASPLABA). They used to be the fishermen of the marine area of the Parque National del Este; however, due to the tourism activities most of the fishermen began to be boat operator reducing the over fishing on the marine area of the park. In addition, for those who are willing to do a hard hiking for physical strength, we recommend Hiking Trail Catuano-Mano Juan, which is old road that connect Catuano with Mano Juan at Saona Island. This trail has 10 Km long, in order to do this trail we take the boat at Bayahibe, the boat will drop us at Catuano where we start waking until reach Mano Juan. This hike takes about 2.5 - 3 hours, it is excellent for bird watching, collecting butterflies, photographs, etc. As soon as we arrive at Mano Juan Village, we can buy a cool Dominican beer and have a succulent meal. Recorrido Ecologico: La Ruta del Litoral del Parque Nacional del Este

La Ruta del Litoral: Es nuestra mayor aventura para las excursiones educativas y recreativas de grupos. El recorrido se realiza en bote (lanchas rápidas) durando casi todo el día de 9:00 AM -3:30 PM. Dicho recorrido se inicia en Bayahibe, donde se aborda el bote, recorriendo toda la línea costera del Parque Nacional del Este (haga click para ver mapa), por lo tanto, usted podrá ver a lo largo del recorrido los diferentes ecosistemas costeros y marinos como los manglares, los arrecifes de coral, praderas de hierbas marinas, playas de arena blanca, y la comunidad de Mano Juan en Isla Saona, donde termina el recorrido. Además, usted tendrá la oportunidad de nadar, realizar snorkelling, etc. Este tour se realiza en conjunto con la Asociacion de Propietarios de Lanchas de Bayahibe (ASPLABA). Los miembros de ASPLABA solían ser pescadores de la zona marina del Parque Nacional del Este, sin embargo, debido a las actividades de turismo la mayoría de estos pescadores, cambiaron su actividad laboral y económica por la de ser operadores de lanchas. Dicho cambio de actividad productiva y económica a traído como consecuencia una reducción significativa de la pesca, dentro las aguas del Parque Nacional del Este, ya que existía una sobrepesca. En adicción a esto, y para aquellos excursionistas más aventureros, que deseen realizar una recorrido más reconfortante y de fortaleza física, le recomendamos el recorrido de Catuano-Mano Juan, que una antigua carretera que conecta a ambas localidades y tiene una distancia de 10 Km. Para realizar este recorrido, tomamos un bote en Bayahibe que nos dejara en Catuano de ahí comenzamos la caminata. Este recorrido dura de 2.5 a 3 horas, y es excelente para observar aves, colectar mariposas, tomar fotografías, etc. Tan pronto como lleguemos a la comunidad de Mano Juan podemos tomar una cerveza bien fría y comer un suculento almuerzo.
