The Ecotours are nature tours into the
Dominican national parks; therefore, these ecological tours include:
hiking, environmental route, wildlife viewing, wildlife photograph,
bird watching, butterflies watching, nocturnal tours, agro tourism,
etc. In addition, we have contacts with some community’s excursion
providers to make recreational marine excursion: like boating,
fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving. We can prepare an excursion
package for group according to their interest.
These EcoTours are customized ecological tours and private deluxe
tours exclusively for group of people and families of 5 people or
less; therefore, our service is personalized. The ecological tours
are guided by Kelvin Guerrero, local biologist with a lot of
experience and knowledge of the wildlife and natural history of the

The main objective of
our nature tours service is that the visitors can experience by
themselves by having contact with the nature, learn about our
biodiversity and culture; see and feel the day-to-day Dominican
lifestyle and friendliness of the local people in their environment.
In addition, to have the freedom and option for buying snack and
drinks in the local groceries stores located in the local town
contributing with the local economic and have a direct contact with
the communities to learn more about our customs and culture.
These ecotours are
prepared according to the customer interest. The cost of the ecotour
would depend on the kind of the tours that you may want as well as
the area to visit; however, price will include guide service,
transportation, light snack and local drinks (only if you ask to do
so – it would be included in your tour fee), but you have the option
to bring your own drinks and snack.
Nevertheless, our tours
are customized tours for small group of people, we can prepare
environmental education, ecological and recreational tours for
largest groups such as students and institutions (universities,
school, NGO, etc.). These tours for big group of people are made in
conjunction with the
Bayahibe Boat Operators Association (Asociación de
Propietarios de Lanchas de Bayahibe -ASPLABA) and
Fundación Amigos
del Parque Nacional del Este (ECOPARQUE). Also, we use the services
providers by the local communities, contributing with the local
economic and communities income.
